Hunting Arrows
« on: September 20, 2010, 05:44:00 PM »
These are my new hunting arrows I just made. I used real turkey feathers and died one pink, with koolaid. This is my 4th attemped at making arrow. Overall very pleased with the way they came out.

Not bad for someone that got his mother's genes.  :saywhat:

Very nice.  I use similar feather colors, but use red rit dye.  I hope you get the chance to see what a pass through does to your feathers.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

One of the reason's why I kept the natural colors on the feathers is so that the feathers would show the blood better.   :bigsmyl:

Those will be easy to find! Good hunting, and post the "after" pics.   :readit:

Nice.  You should be able to track their flight with those nocks very easily.
