MARRIAH THERMAL PICS?
« on: May 20, 2007, 07:56:00 PM »
I'm trying to get an idea for wood combinations for my Marriah Thermal I'm ordering. Please post pics if you have any.

Thanks,

Jake, go to  www.webshots.com  and do a search for Marriah Bows.  There are several different locations listed there for pictures.

Ric,

It's good to see you posting.  How's your health?  Are you still building bows/taking orders?

Jake,

I just deleted from my computer pics of a Thermal Ric built for me.  It is without a doubt the most gorgeous bow I've ever had my hands on and one of, if not, the best looking bow I've ever seen.  Ric is a true artisan when it comes to building a bow.

Shell,

Take a look at Macassar Ebony and Bocote in combination!  I think you'll like it.

I have a macassar ebony/bocote thermal that I got last August-I'll try to get some pics and post in the next several days. Beach-I think that is the prettiest bow I have ever seen.

Hi Shell!  This is the combo on Ric's personal bow. I saw it on his website and said "how about something like that?"  This is what he sent me. Ric went nuts with the accent laminations! It is really a beautiful bow. The only consideration I would make is on the weight. This wood combo is quite heavy..it makes for a great shooting bow and a no-brainer for a tree stand or turkey hunt. However, I would be hard pressed (too wimpy?) to carry it on a long elk hunt.

Beach-

Do you mind me asking what you paid for the bow?

Thanks
