Ground Hunting???

im going to do a little more ground and pound deer hunting this year. when not hunting out of a double bull (i.e. next to a big oak, etc) what do you normally sit on??   thanks

When I hunt from the ground I'm usually wearing my leafy suit or my Guille depending on the temperture. Look for funnels into feeding or bedding areas. Play the wind. Set up with cover behind ya for sure. I prefer some cover in front as well. Be still until time to shoot. Pick a spot and let her fly. Good luck and "Keep'Um Sharp".  :thumbsup:

Ameristep tri-pod seat. $6.00 and I buy about 3 per year.

Don't have to worry about breaking them since they are so inexpensive.

Small, compact, and somewhat comfy...

I also use a tripod seat or a log.  Sometimes I just plant my butt on the ground.
