I have had one for six years; it was the second takedown longbow he made. It is an excellent bow that I shoot when not shooting one of my selfbows. It is fast, silent, stable, and smooth (no hand shock). I got the checkered grip and would recommend getting that option. As Steve mentioned, Dave uses the Roberson Connexion hinge but has modified it to make it easier to use. Shooting 675 grain Grizzly sticks in league last winter the arrows averaged around 175 feet per second. The spec’s for the bow are 64”, 58# @ 28”, and I draw it about 28 ½”.
