Arizona EZ Fletch?

What are your thoughts? I use 5" shield and parabolic feathers.

Also, do they make a left wing? I only saw a right wing on their site.

Look as if they would be quicker than the Jo-Jan I'm currently using.

Hey Dusty,

I use one.  The one I use 5.5" both shield and parabolic.  It takes a little finesse to get the feather in the slot so it lays good.  I also found the feather doesn't always lay flat on the arrow, if that makes sense.  But, I've haven't had a problem with an fletching coming off.  I do use Duco and have to wait a bit, 30-60 min., before opening the fletcher.  Otherwise the feathers are snug enough that they're pulled loose.  That's a glue issue though.  I have seen a left wing at Bass Pro Shops near my house.  I can check and see if they still have it and pick it up for you if you'd like.  I also think the grooves could be easily made wider to accept the feathers easier but just haven't gotten around to it myself.  Hope it helps.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

I use it too on my carbons with 4.5" feathers. Not much helical, but the arrow spins...so I can't complain.

I use mine with superglue gel and can get fletched up pretty fast.

Jeremy,

Thank you for the offer but I'm undecided on these as of now. I use right wing, but some of my buddies do use left, and I fletch their arrows up for them.

The lack of helical is worrisome. Can you buy arms that have a similar amount of helical as the Jo-Jan?
