Big Jim bow pics

Here are a few from a previous thread.  if you don't get enough responses, use the search feature and type in "Big Jim's bows".  There have been quite a few threads with pictures of his bows over the last year.  :)

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

doeslayer,

You may be aware of it, but if you aren't, BigJim has a website. On the website there is a link to SLIDESHOW. Click on the link to see many examples of Buffalo Bows.

Chopx2 very nice. I think I have decided on coco/ osage riser with coco on the front of the limbs and osage on the belly of the limbs. 2 pc takedown with beaver tail. horn tips with possibly horn on the front of the riser.

Raging Water- Not to be nit picky, but it is macasar (limbs and riser) and Gaboon (black stripe). I know when It was my go to, it would sling an arrow through a deer end to end and back. I'm shure it cold whipe out an entire herd now. lol

Great looking combo Jim!!     If you put a Big Jim broadhead on the arrows out of that you'll be ready to book a hunt at Jurassic Park.    ;)

That's the combo I have on my one piece Buffalo, and that's what I ordered for my 2 pieces Buffalo to come .

This time, and because it will be my 50th birthday bow, I might go with splices veneers and have the nocks side veneers very dark
