can you stain the glass?
« on: May 22, 2007, 10:22:00 AM »
Is it possible to stain the glass on a bow after it's made? What I'm talking about is the outer (GEL KOTE) glass thats on the outside. My bow is Bamboo on the limbs and it's clear glass on top and it's just a bit too yellow for me. I don't want to paint it but I might have to snake back it to get the look I want.

Just thought I'd ask.
Thanks

You could use dye on the glass (I doubt it would work and would probably look like crap!) Snake skins are the way to go for what you want to do.
