Sinew Substitute?

I know that nylon thread and superglue makes a great substitute for sinew when reinforcing self nocks, but I've been wondering: would it be enough to hold a trade point onto an arrow like I've seen sinew used for?

Heck 2 part epoxy, CA glue, pine pitch, birch tar, fish glue, hide glue, ferrel tite....
