razor sharp glue on broadhead

Does anyone make a glue on broadhead that is razor sharp out of the package. I shoot a 2-blade magnus and can get them pretty sharp using a kme sharpener, but would still like them as sharp the broadheads that come with the razor edges.

I don't call Eclipse heads razor sharp out of the package but they are very, very sharp.  Where they really excell, however, is that I can get them to a razor edge quite easily on my grinder from Alaska Supply.  Man, they take an edge.

We now stock KME pre-sharpened Tusker Concordes.  They are literally shaving sharp right out of the pack. In fact they have a protective dip on them them to preserve the edge until your ready to use them.

I think the Steel Force heads are billed as razor sharp out of the package, and I think they offer a resharpening service.

On a side note, I used to obsess about having my broadheads razor sharp, as in polished edge razor sharp, but after noticing how dull they ended up after passing through a deer I began to think that razors are good for shaving but not much good after plowing through a layer of hair and bone first.

I've been using just a regular file to sharpen my broadheads for about 10 years and feel the micro-serrated edge you get with a file is much better suited for the kind of impact cutting a broadhead does. The broadhead is still sharp even after cutting through hair and bone.

File sharpening is quick and easy.

I personally would never hunt with a broadhead arrow that I havent shot a few times to make sure it flew right. Especially a glue on, no matter how true it spins. That means that you would have to resharpen it anyway.....

Why dont you come to hog heaven and hunt pigs with us- we'll teach you how to sharpen your broadheads that way - with files and leather strips or crock sticks in just minutes

You cant keep a head sharp for long- sitting in your quiver foam it will corrode enough to need a touchup in a couple days less if it's raining

It's a skill you need to cultivate and it will bring a sense of satisfaction to your overall experience

doug i'm with you, i've killed lots of deer with magnus and steel force, when there razor sharp they get dull just putting them in and out of my quiver. when i use just a broadhead file they keep that serraded edge. the deer i kill only go 70 yards tops.

I am with shooting my heads in practice then resharpening and it sounds as if you can get those magnus jobbers sharp? same technique on more heads!

I guess your base question has been answered by folks, really like the looks of the Abowyer.

I do shoot my arrows to see how they fly with broadheads. I will take one broadhead and take the time to glue it on each arrow that I plan to hunt with. It takes a little time but it is better than trying to resharpen a half dozen heads. I was thinking about trying a different broadhead than the Magnus, one that doesn't have the reinforced tip and is all one piece to see if they are easier to sharpen.

 Using the KME sharpener, sometimes I can get the Magnus razor sharp and other times I just seem to be dulling it.
