Other hunting websites
« on: October 24, 2010, 12:34:00 PM »
Hello fellow hunters i was just wanting to know others opinions on other hunting websites. im from utah and i was scrolling threw some websites that show off some huge deer and elk. I was going threw the forum and all i read was fighting about how its not a 185 inch deer its only 179 and stuff like that dont get me wrong there was some good stuff on there but i think sometimes people get way to caught up in the score and not the times spent with family and friends. i mean its awesome to kill a big buck or bull but in the end you cant eat the horns and i think family and friends are alot more important. So thanks to all the trad guys that still know the true meaning to hunting!!!!! Lets hear some of the sad things you have herd that made you fill bad about the true meaning of the hunt

There's no hunting site that I've been on that compares to Trad-Gang! The constant bickering, posting about off topic things, slamming others with different opinions than their own. It,s just discracefull! The moderators here do a fantastic job keeping things going straight forward. I'm proud of our site and happy to be part of it!

I 100% agree and it's because of the rules that Mr. Terry and the moderators have and in force each and every day.

Welcome to the Gang Jordan   :bigsmyl:

Please ignore the pitiful baiting threads that are going on right now because that's about as much arguing as you will see on here. Like every site there's a couple trouble makers in every group that start threads like that and hopefully they(the threads) will be done and gone soon then we can get back to hunting

This is the only hunting site for me, the people here are a class act ! I just hope it stays this way, I get a little nervous when I see all the newer join dates, and yes I consider myself a newbie too, but I agree with and support the old boys club here 100% !  I wouldn't change a thing !

I'm a member of a good Mo hunting sight. The place is focused on getting Youth and Handicapped folks involved in the outdoors! Pretty well G rated and alot of fun! A few of us trad guys there, but not many.

Most sites I go to are Trad Bow only, and the one that offers the Best of the Best is here no matter if you shoot longbow or recurves.

When I first joined the site I linked a buddy to one of my first posts, now this guy is a real surfer and goes to loads of internet sites.  First thing he had to say to me is "This cant be a real web site!  It cant possibly exhist on the internet!  Where is all the flaming, bickering, whining and rude behavior?"  He was obviously impressed with the nature of this site even though he is not a trad guy, a hunter or any manner of outdoorsman.
Hunt fair, hunt hard, no regrets.

If'n that's the way you feel your gonna love it here on the gang.

All trad harvest are trophies around here and all are cogratulated and celebrated like they are world class. The folks round here are a different breed and I'm glad to be part of it and welcome you to the family of Trad Gang.
