60" bow case / airline-proof
« on: May 25, 2007, 06:12:00 AM »
I'm hightailin' it to Montana to scare the willies outta some speed goats come September.I'm flyin for the first leg of the trip and need a good case for a 60" recurve and a handful of arrows I wanna take along with me. I'm also thinking about taking a longer selfbow for those days when fiberglass just won't do. Gonna put that one in some 4" plastic drain pipe and cap the ends.
What I'm looking for is a good bow case that won't break the bank but will keep my stuff intact as the baggage handlers toss it around.
 Any ideas?
There sure is alot of air around a squirrel...eeyup.

I have some of those hard side round cases from Three Rivers Archery. They work well for me and they're not too expensive.

I round cases that dhaverstick is talking about are pretty rugged and lockable. Well worth the coin in my opiniion.
