Is there any difference in water resistance between dacron and the newer non-strech strings?

Don't worry about rain or immersion. Your string will be fine.

The string is pulled so tight that water will not soak it.

Thanks, guys. Yes, mine are all waxed, too , but was just wondering if there might be some advantage on a rainy day.
