I had one, it shot really well, like the adjustments, easy to tune, it's not any faster than any of the other high end bows.  I sold it, couldn't get used to the metal grip, just like the wooden risers.  RW

I had one.  62" long, 43 - 47# at 28".  It shot well, was pretty smooth and absolutely dead in the hand.  Plenty of adjustments, too.  I just shoot my BW better, so I sold it and bought another BW.

I tried one for a while.  60" 51 lb at 28.  Shot OK for me.  I could never get it very quit, and I tried a lot of different things.  I'm glad I tried one out.  I found I like wood riser bows better.

I had a Dalaa,I thought it was a fine shooting bow with good speed.Easy to tune and very adjustable.I thought mine was pretty quiet,I had a custom made padded loop endless string with silencers.I shot it better then any other recurve I've had.But I'm just more of a longbow fan.

A friend of mine had one and it was a good shooter.  If you're looking for that type of bow, I think there are better options out there.

I have a DAS master, which is the forerunner to the Dalaa.
Great riser, the magic is fitting good limbs to  it, teh standard dalaa limbs are good for sure, but you can just about fit any ILF limb on the market by simply swapping the ILF bushing for  a DAS bushing..
I have Border HEX 5s on mine and it is one of my favorite bows, fast and smooth. Other good limbs are winex if you can find a pair, or the Dryad static recurves....

I have two Daala's and have also owned Master Hunters & Elite's.  These bows are gerally my "GO TO" bows as they are extremely accurate, quick, and tuneable.

Further, the metal riser also add good weight to the bow, making it more stable and forgiving of the shot.

I have a lot of beautiful wood longbows and recurves, but usually break out my DAS bows to head to the woods.

My best friend had one and he shot it better than he has ever shot any other stick bow but I don't think they are a magic bullet or anything like that--I think they are easy to tune and you can put more stuff on them and experiment a bit more with different shooting aids and styles (three under/split finger) but ultimately it is the guy behind the bow that makes it accurate.  They are another good shooting bow--if you like it I am positive it will not let you down

My Dalaa 21" black riser with black Dalaa carbon/foam limbs is the best bow I have ever shot ! And my 17" Dalaa with Dalaa carbon/wood limbs comes a close second. prh.

My favorite, really like it with the Dryad limbs, will not believe how quiet with their limb design.

I have a 17" DAS Master and use Border Hex-5 H limbs--magical combination!  I love the mass, the absence of vibration and the tunability of those risers.  You can't go wrong with the Dalaa.

I have one with a set of Everest Pro carbon/foam limbs. At first I wasn't to sure if I liked it. Tried a couple of different handles and was just not consistent. I then had Jager archery make me a minimalist grip, that was the ticket. The bow is very accurate and is as dead in the hand as they get, although my new Swan might be a tad more accurate for me but time will tell. The dalaa is faster though set at the same weight with the same arrow but not by much. Great bow imo.

I owned one a while back, had it filmed dipped in predator and the whole nine yards. Thing was a real tack driver and plenty of  performance ... but, something didn't quite feel right. I new in my head that this was a real shooter but in my heart I felt the need for a wooden bow. So I sent the daala on its way and resumed the search. Don't get me wrong the daala is a super piece of equipment but just was not my cup of tea.  Thanks Mo

I have 2 Dalaa risers and limbs for making both 58" and 60" bows. Limbs in my inventory 60" = 45lb, 50lb, 55lb, and 60lb. as for 58" bow limbs = 55lbs
I got excited about how accurate the Dalaa is. How easy the limbs exchange, relatively low cost, tuneability, quietness, the speed is incredible and so now, all my Dalaa stuff is in search of a new owner. See, I got excited about a Mathews compound when i returned to archery in 2007 after a 30 year lay off. I bought the compound and in a few weeks was shooting it better than I had ever shot a trad bow even after years and years of practice 30 years ago. I wanted to see how I could do shooting trad gear again so I bought an old bear bow. I drew it back, the first trad shot in 30 years, aimed at the target from 15 yards (now I was driving tacks with the compound at 30 yds).....shazam...my arrow missed by a mile, I couldn't find my butt with both hands with trad gear so promptly sold my Mathews. I guess that is why my Dalaa gear has been gathering dust these last several months. I can't see me shooting this bow and knowing it is really more of the bow forgiving my technique flaws than my skill being the reason I was shooting so well. Bottom line, the Dalaa is a great bow and if you shoot one, you will see why it is popular and they are selling truck loads of them...
