Marc st. Louis selfbows

hey guys.i just sent the money out today for a used hop-hornbeam static recurve made by Marc.does anyone have or ever shot one of his bows?i have heard that he is a great bowyer.i would appreciate any comments or pics of yours.thanks,steve

I've never shot one of his bows but his reputation as a wood bowyer is second to none. Personally, I would not hesitate a second to purchase one if his works.

hey Grey,i read his articals in primitive archer.it looks like he knows his stuff.i've always wanted to own one of his bows.looks like i am going to get my chance.i just got into the selfbow thing.i think i have a problem.i had two made by twistedlimbs and now this one.i hope my money holds out LOL.i also had Ryan Gill (twistedlimbs)make me a dozen rivercane primitive arrows with knapped heads,elkhide quiver and a knapped obsidian neck knife.i have gone nuts and i think she is going to kill me.someone help me LOL,steve

Yup, you're toast, buddy.
The only way to survive this is to feed the hunger. I have some nice used drawknives available, let me know when you get to that point  :biglaugh:

i have a draw knife.now i need the talent.i can shoot them,i just can't make them.
