Compass. Asbell wool pullover. Bow, arrows and a good sharp knife. And plenty of home-made jerky and trail mix that I manage to eat up on the drive to the mountains. There is seldom any left to take in the woods with me.

I really like my Vitcorinox hunter knife has multi use, small saw and gut knife even the cork screw came in handy. When I dropped my small tree hook that holds my pack, I just used my cork screw. Also I like my small prunners to clear shooting lanes. Got to have my dayone pack with me, holds all my other luxury items.

I'm with Steve O... Safety Harness and Main Beam Flashlight but I will add Thermacell during early/mid-season (mosquitoes are bad down here in the south).

I have used my 6" uninsulated LL Bean pac boots for 20 yrs and they are now reaching the point of no return. Then again, maybe I can get another year out of them.
Oh yeah, and I really love my CatQuivers too. They have been a lot of places with me.

My Badlands Bino Bivy and Jetboil for a nice hot coffee or cup of noodles.
