Those of you with Osage bows/ do you think it blends in well or would you get a darker color for your hunting bow? Thanks
Blessings,
Steve

The high, lead the helicopters to the LZ, yellow of a new osage bow doesn't last all that long. Exposure to the sun will soon mellow it to a more muted yellow and eventually to brown.

The more sun the quicker it happens.

I love the yellow color of a newly made osage selfbow but to me it doesn't stay that way long enough, it gets darker all the time.  :(    :(

I love aged Osage.  There's nothing in the world like that beautiful, glowing butterscotch color.

Now that's a yallar bow and arrows Mickey!
Paster Steve, A little Chlorox will darken osage up a bit if it is too bright for you. Before too long however it will turn a nice golden color then head towards chocolate.   Pat
