New squirrel hunter...
«

I have a 5yr old son that is too restless to sit quietly and wait for deer. I'm thinkin' he'd love to try squirrel huntin' for a couple hours at a time maybe. Here's the question, are the various types of small game tips absolutely necessary? Wouldnt a well-placed field point do the job on a little grey squirrel? Thanks in advance!

probly. ive had bad luck with squirrels and broadheads. ive shoot them had them run up a tree and have to wait for them to come down to finish them off. what i did to make cheap blunt tips was take old rifle oor hangun shells and glue of electrical tape them to my arrow. great blunt for nothin and u get the fun of shooting the shell to.
