If I were you I would try One fletch. Let it sit overnite and then try and pull it off the shaft. If it pulls easy the glue won't work. Also make sure to clean the shaft with acetone before fletching.
I use RC car paint in rattle cans as a cap paint. I crest with the same paint (in bottles) then I let them set overnite. I cap dip them in Gasket Laq. 3 or 4 times to help protect the cresting. I then use Ducco to fletch up the shafts. We have had no feathers fall off yet even after finding "lost" arrows from last year.

One time we tried Duco on a dozen carbons with wraps. The fletching fell off while the arrows were laying still. Yikes! I won't do that again.
Normally I would not even try Duco on a carbo. We always use Platinum Fletch Tite. But I recently talked to a fletcher who cleans his shafts with Ajax cleanser. I suppose it is possible the cleanser roughs the shaft enough that Duco would work. I don't have plans to try it.

Hi Blake, The one time I made up a dozen carbons I put arrow wraps on them and used fletchtite; the feathers stayed on great.

For feathers, use fletch tape. Inserts, use epoxey.

I got some Duco to use on the kids wood arrows. I plan to try some salvaged feathers on a refetch for a carbon shaft and see how it works unless someone says it will just fall off, but I don't have anything really to risk trying.

never had a really good bond using duco and clean carbon.
imho, for carbons, there's absolutely nothing better than bohning fletch tape, available from trad gang vendors.
for "nostalgic arrow making" i use duco for woodies that are sealed and finished with polyu. truth is, fletch tape for this application works better and faster, too.

I tried it last night for fun. My Saunders APV holds much better, but it did work though.
