Susan,

Bring your bow over, I'll tell you if there is anything wrong with it.  And then, I'll tell you how much its worth as I shove some cash in your direction.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Thanks Kansas. Sell it? I don't think so--just looking for some reassurance from those more experienced than I. I've only been at this oh, 35 years or so......

Huntryx - I am glad you like your new (to you) Kestrel.  Don't worry about babying your Kestrel.  It is built to withstand the rigors of the field.  The black locust limb core material is as tough as they come and the bow has at least 6 coats of epoxy for a finish.  Use and enjoy the bow, just don't abuse it and it should give you many years of service.

Thanks for your comments.

Very nice looking bow, but the pictures are WAY too big.  Go back and edit each picture (you can set up photobucket to auto resize for you so you don't have to do it each time).  Be sure and click on the APPLY button after resizing.  Then you can edit your pics in your original post.  Send me a pm if you need any help!
