Ok I normally hate when Christmas is pushed before thanksgiving is over. But I just can't wait. It all started  when I  was in the Traditional Bows and seen a little left handed internature viper longbow for sale and thought that would be a nice first trade bow for me. 45lbs lefty and look at the price no way a bow that looks that good cost that much. Has to be something wrong with it.
Hop on Google and wow reviews are really good on it. Ok enough wasting time and day dreaming I need to get back to work. Wife and I are talking that same day and she ask what I want for Christmas well I think and started to say you know what ever you get me is fine. But wait is the bow still for sale, stall and hop on tradgang and it does not have the Sold in the title. Ok direct wife to page and say this is what I want.
I contact  the owner via PM and ask about the bow is it still for sale and if so my wife might buy it for me for X-mas. Response was yes and here is my contact info. Next thing I know I get a PM wife contacted seller about the bow and things are moving. I ask if by chance if he had any arrows that he shot with it. Promptly was replied to yes I will send some I made for it. WOW. The best part is we also discuss hunting and archery and I think I have made a new friend via this site. I don't know when the bow will get here but when it does PIC will be up.
Oh before I forget yall thank Jeremy AKA fdlz58 for making this all possible and just being a stand up guy. He has bent over backward to help my wife get me my first trade bow.

Sorry for the book, but a Soldier gets board some times.

Ok I just got my Christmas present from my wife  and I have added PICs . This my first Trad bow I have owned that I could shoot.  The arrows and The Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook are form Jeremy aka fdlz58. Thanks they are great, I have read thru all the history and well into the equipment chapter of the Book. It was dark so I was not able to shoot it and I want be able to for about 3 weeks. Don't feel too bad for me because I will be on R&R and should be with the family by the weekend.

Again thanks Jeremy you went above and beyond on helping my wife get this here. I will not lie I will be sadden to have to come back after R&R is over, but now my recory will be faster.

Today I just got part one of my Christmas present. It is from Jeremy (AKA fdlz58). What is it you ask a book. Not just any book it is The Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook, by T.J. Conrads.
Thanks Jeremy I really do appreciate the book and it will come in handy on that long R&R flight in DEC. I could spend a day in an air plane.
Thanks again God Bless,
Kelly

Your words are too kind KellyG.  As in my PM, I hope your travels go smoothly and you enjoy your bow.  Be sure and let us know how it shoots.  Anything else I can do please let me know.  Merry Christmas!

Nice story! Do you have a range over there, or do you have to wait til you rotate back here to shoot it?
Thanks for your service, stay safe, and Merry Christmas in advance! Also, Good On You Jeremy!

P.S. I just bought the new release of the movie "Avatar", with all the extra footage and how they made the movie. They showed the actors training in archery with Olympic archery coaches. They were shooting Internature Recurves. They had to get comfortable shooting as a "Human", before they started shooting the backwards Na'Vi way.

Jeremy No PIC of me shooting but I got It.

Danny I made a cardboard target and will set it up. I did it the first time I was here with bows members sent me and I put them too use and made a range. Then turned the stuff over to he MWR (moral welfare and receation). I did not go to the same place.

Jeremy hitman want a spin-rite crester what ever that is.

Hitman I put the request in for you.
Merry Christmas all God Bless.  :goldtooth:

Ho, ho, ho!  Meerry Christmas!  It's fun to be able to play Santa Clauss.  I'm glad it all got there in one piece.  Have safe travels and enjoy your family.  I look forward to hearing from you when you get a chance to shoot.  You're welcome.

KellyG, I'm sure I speak for all the folks on this site when I say "Thank you for the sacrifices you are making for all of us here."  We do not take that for granted.  Glad you got the bow and hope it brings you much joy.  God bless and keep you and all the other guys and gals over there safe.....Dave
