There is a very pronounced trail that comes out of this corner. I've seen alot of deer particularly bucks. Unfortunately the only time it can be hunted is when there is a straight southerly wind.           Here is the stand that is 25 yards to the north of it.It is a regular hangon  with climbing sticks.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I particularly liked this shot (probably because I'm not in it) .

Perfect Ben. Really enjoyed this thread.  Thrilled to see the buck.  I love non-typical racks and wierd racks on deer.  Very cool!

Great pics. I loved seeing them.  Good buck. He's got a cool looking rack.

I noticed you are from Paola, was this hunt around there?  I used to live east of town off of Beaver Creek Rd.  I moved over by Baldwin  about 7 years ago.

Ben,

I lived on Beaver Creek rd about 3/4 mile north of 311th.  Not far from you.  I'd still be there today but my ex-wife got remarried and moved to Lawrence so I had to move to keep custody of my daughter.

Have you lived there long?

Huck
