Texas is a big state. From Beaumont, Tx to El Paso, Tx; the distance is around 800 miles. To put that 800 miles into a proper prospective; from El Paso, Tx to Los Angles, Ca; it's around 800 miles. It snows in Dallas which is 250 miles north of me, but close to Houston which is 45 miles southeast of me, we're usually too warm to get any accumulation of snow. It's 36 degrees as I type this and today's high will be 68 degrees. [/b]
