Well after not picking up a trad bow for a while (I know I know) I'm back to my recurves full time. Starting yesterday was the first day of our late season muledeer doe and cow elk season. Going to update the post with pics and video day by day. Should also see some giant bucks, hope to be able to get a few pics of one of the 200 inch deer i was chasing during my buck season. Going to wait to start hunting until tomorrow when my dad gets down here. Anyway stay tuned!

I was still shooting the recurves just grabbed a compound here and there. Here are a few pics from this evening. Saw well over 200 head of deer, just glassing tonight. In the last pic if you look close you can see a bunch in the back round.

Yup still shooting the 15 inch Belcher riser. I was hoping to put some black max limbs on it, if they ever get here!

Boy, it's great to see a state that can do a good job managing their deer like you guys can.

Went out looking around for Bobcats this morning, going to hit the blind in a few hours. Tonight my dad is up first so will see how it goes. Saw about 60 deer this am, lots moving around.

The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
