Indians call it the "Crazy Moon"..... That magical time in September when the Elk bugle all night long..... Here's a montage of nightime Elk bugling recorded at Elk camp this September..... Terry

Wow, now that would be awesome to hear in person. It even got my 5 and 7 year olds to stop wrestling and come listen to it. My oldest said " that sounds crazy" So maybe the indians were right.

My favorite time of year. They may keep me awake at night screaming outside my window but I will never complain.
Terry I heard there is a youngster up in 7E for a Hunt of a Lifetime hunt. Any word on how its going?

Glad you guys enjoyed the clip..... This area has been nothing short of phenomenal..... Jim after 8 years I handed the reins for the AZ HOAL program over to Matt Minshall..... I'm not sure how the 7E hunt is going but Matt is doing an incredible job with the program.... Last we talked he had 12 youngsters scheduled for this year... Terry
