A very pleasant surprise
« on: December 04, 2010, 11:14:00 PM »
I traded for a Jerry Hill 68 50@28. I think it's all action wood.

Not a bad looking bow and certainly won't need any camouflaging to go to the woods.

I've done some reading about these bows and I think I've read more negative than positive but after talking to a couple of folks about this particular bow I decided to try one for myself.

I've been shooting for almost a week now and find it to be very well mannered and hits right where I'm looking.

It's not the fastest longbow I've shot but I'd say it holds it's own. I never was too awfully concerned with speed anyway. If it hits where I want and with consistency, it'll make the grade.

I haven't had time to take any pictures yet.

Just wanted to give a report.

God bless,Mudd

The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Hey Mudd, I kind'a told you that same thing before we traded.......I really liked that Jerry Hill, but I'm glad it's working out for you. I will say that the Spirit longbow that I got from you is working out well also.....glad you like the Stalker Deluxe!
