From my experience with coverall is they tend to restrict and bind unless they are over sized and then they tend to get in the way. I prefer bibs and a jacket of some kind, wool being my first choice.

I owned one pair and hunted a few times with them. They are as handy as a guy could ask, but as stated above they bind like crazy when climbing or drawing your bow. They especially bind in a tree stand shooting close, say 8-12 yards. I found pants and longer coat is best for me.

I use them , but what I do is wear a belt on the outside to hold the bottom section from the waist down secure like wearing pants , so that all the weight of the coveralls aren't hanging from your shoulders .

X3 Bibs and a jacket. Put body warmers front and back in the bibs--toasty!

I dont like coveralls at all unless very lightweight just for a camo cover. Its like moving around in a sleeping bag. If I was sitting in a ground blind I'm sure they'd be fine...if you put 'em on once you get there. Much too limiting for me hunting from treestands.

I started hunting with coveralls and don;t know if I could use anything else. I use a pair that has a plastic buckle to pull the waist tight to help eliminate the bagginess around the middle. There made by scentlok but the only reason I bought them is because they were on sale and had the buckle around the waist. Broke college kids can't be picky but I can't complain, they fit me well and do the job.

I use coveralls for the recovery of any animals killed. While hunting, I use bibs, shirts etc. Coveralls are just too constricting for my liking! Thanks.

Same here, bibs and a jacket. Coveralls are a bit warmer, but restrict shoulder movement a bit too much. And if bibs are warm enough for me (-20 F or worse, and windy), they should be warm enough for most other uses.

When it really gets cold I throw on a pair of thinsulate coveralls and have no trouble shooting or climbing in them. Sure keeps me warm and happy.

Long waisted, put steps rather far apart in early season.........no late season wearing of coveralls for me (unless I wanna try out for the Vienna Boy's Choir).
Bibs and coat.
But hey, if you can find stuff that fits and is cut right for some added movement, go for it.

My bibs and coat sure fit better but until I bought my current set I always used coveralls, I plan on going to cabelas and try some on again someday, I sure miss how they lay flat against the body, my coats always tend to bunch up on me.

I like coveralls. Been wearing the same pair of Walls insulated ones for about 10 years, no problem with shooting in them. I also use uninsulated in early season, and I like the way they keep my clothing close to my body.
When hunting in urban areas, coveralls also allow me to wear street clothes under them, so I can go into public areas in non-camo attire.
