Browning Cobra II
«

A friend of mine just bought his first trad bow, a Browning Cobra II (58" and 60 lbs).
He knows almost nothing about it. Can some of you fellows give us some info on this bow. I did a search and found some good info.
Thanks guys, plinker22

Plinker,Over the years I've owned 2 or 3 of those. There real nice bows and Browning used the best materials Rosewood and Phonelic.I found the Cobra 11 didn't have as much recurve as the 1 and didn't quite perform as well as the 1 ,but it was still a nice bow .like all the early Brownings.
I don't know how much your friends shot but 60# is a hefty tug to start with.If your helping him watch for bad habits he may have to go lighter to get the feel of things. All the best.
