Bout to head out.
« on: December 17, 2010, 07:03:00 AM »
My cousin came up to hunt with me the next two days. He'll be using a rifle this morning but I'll be using my bow. We're both wanting to take bows this evening. He's never killed a deer. There is a glimmer of hope! He said he would like to try out traditional archery because of how much I love it. He got his first compound last week so he's new to archery in general so maybe he'll be an easy convert. Anyways here's to hoping I get my first trad kill and he gets his first kill in general.

It won't take much to convert him. Once all those little thingy gizmos start breaking and having to be replaced and adjusted he'll see the light....Phil

Well.. no deer today. But this evening we called in a coyote to less than 15 yards but my cousin couldn't get on it quick enough. We're gonna call for them again tomorrow and maybe we'll get one. Fun stuff.
