same set-up as you would for deer. You will need calls and decoys to get the geese in close (20yrs)

broad heads and find someone who knows what they are doing if you really want to have success without a lot of learning curve. Trying to figure out decoying and calling takes some work, time and $$. Your best bet if you want them in your face is layout blinds in fields with someone who knows how to set them down. The earlier in the year the better because you need fewer decoys and the birds are not so smart at the start. The biggest thing about hunting waterfowl like anything is to be where they want to be. Try and scout some spots where they are coming in and try and see if you can find a spot where you can ambush them on their normal routine. That way you don't blow it with pour decoying and calling. Best way to go is find family groups using small ponds or grass areas early in the year and then set up where they fly over to land. They land into the wind so get up wind of the landing zone and find some cover.
