gus dellaghelfa-bowyer

anyone have any info on him? i was made aware of his bows a few years back; absolutely beautiful bows, and my understanding was that they were good shooters also. i think he was (is) in new york state. i may be a bit off on the spelling of the last name. any help appreciated. thanks. (corrected spelling of last name included thanks to bill)

longriver bows and they are/were awesome!  great shooters and gorgeous and bring a good re-sale buck. ive owned probably 4 or 5 of them with my favorite being the "elk" r/d kinda hybrid looking bow.  sweet shooter and just gorgeous.  his work is similar to randy dehnel and fred anderson....very high attention to detail and just a classy looking bow. email my good friend leo markert who lives around the corner from me.  he has contact info for gus and has owned some of his personal shooters.  he knows all there is to know about longriver bows. Gus DellaGhelfa lives in Ct. . He stop making bows a few years back after is wife passed .I have a few of his bows and if you can find one for sale you should grab it!!! A better attention to detail and finish you will ONLY find in a few bows. Fred Anderson bows is one that comes to mind , Fred and Gus are friends.

I belive that Gus may be back makeing bows.Contact Jackdaw here on the site,i'm pretty sure he just got one from Gus this summer.
