Bison Gear, the Best
« on: December 29, 2010, 09:00:00 PM »
I just have to give a "excellent customer service" shout out to Angelo.. I ordered and received a haversack from Bison Gear in a very timely manner. The only problem was that good old USPS damaged the box and when I opened it found that one of the clips on the strap was broken. So I figure "no problem, I'll just get me a clip", but upon further inspection discovered that this quality strap was sewed and the clip can't be removed. So I called Angelo and told him of the problem. He said no problem, I'll send you another strap and he did. The package arrived with a nice long sleeve Bison Gear T-shirt but no strap..(the bubble wrap envelope had been opened and re-taped on the end. (oh S@@T) so I called Angelo again, and he sent me out a whole new haversack. (The postage was $14.15 for the first and second haversack and $8 something for the missing strap one.) so I figured that he had almost $40 in shipping and it wasn't his fault, that the USPS had screwed up both previous orders, so I was going to send him a check for half of the postage less the first shipment, and called him to get an address to mail the check to. He told me NO, but I insisted and after a conversation for a while he told me "if I send him a check that he'll mail it back to me".. so I gave up on that. "All I want is happy customers" was his reply. Well let me tell you, I am a happy customer, not only because of the FIRST CLASS QUALITY of this American Made haversack, I love it!!! but the First Class Customer service from Angelo Christano!! I'll definitely do business with him in the future.. (sponsor here too)

    Yep, gotta agree.  Angelo was a great help when I ordered a haversack.  I didn't have problems getting mine, just questions.  Great packs and service!

First class guy and first class pack. They are well worth the money since i really beat on the things i own and mine still looks like new after years of use.
