Just got back From The Long Island Traditional Shoot with a "new to me" bow ... It's a John McCullough ~Griffin~ ... 2561106 ... 50# @ 26" ... 56" ... Looks kinda like a Vortex and/or a Shrew ...

Need To Know:

Proper brace height
B50 of FF string
What you think of this bow

Brace height = 7 inches from the throat of the grip

String = Standard is 6 strand 450+, double serving of #4 nylon.  I think the loops may be padded, but I'm not 100%.  I do pad mine to 10 strands.

Bow is AWESOME!!!! I love John's work, you have a shooter in your hands - Congratulations!!!

BTW, griffon is a shrew,  only longer.  The same bowyer makes both bows...........
