The  only hero I ever had was Roy Rogers king of the cowboys, and he did shoot a bow.

Everything I ever heard or read about him never changed my mind. He will always be a hero to me, God bless Roy.

I haven't found one yet to compare to, so I guess I won't be disappointed.

Every man that has ever lived had/has "feet of clay."

That includes me, you, and Don Thomas.

Thank you ROOSELK! The best thing about this topic is not the answer, but the questions and introspection it produces.

Great commentary from you guys, nobody's perfect and we all make LEARNINGS.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

The only way to avoid "feet of clay" is through clairvoyance. And who possesses that? No one! Respect for others, but no idolatry. Nobodies perfect.

Keep things simple, keeps things loose. Both eyes open, and on the road. Do the best you can do in all things. You are you, so be you and be happy about it. The rest will take care of itself.   :)
If man were to know everything in advance, there would be no such thing as adventure!

Hey Whittler.  Roy is a hero of mine also and he did shoot a bow.  I visited the museum in Branson, now closed I bellive, and his bows were in the museum.  I have a photo somewhere.

I actually sent emails to the Roy Rogers Museum and the Pope and Young club when I heard that the museum was closing.  I thought that maybe Roy's bows could be moved to the P&Y museum but I never heard from either of them.  Take care.  Mike.
