size of wood shaft

What size wood shaft should I use, shoot a 60" 50#@28, but draw 27" recurve.  Shoot 1916 28"/125gr.  That is about 5/16 is that the size to use in wood.

11/32 is what you will need for the spine requirement of your bow.
Most 5/16 tops out at about 45#.
