BTW....I've had several folks email me if I shot all of the on the wing......
I shot the 1st one pretty early, a rooster on the wing, and I was tickled pink. I shot the 2nd rooster not long after, the one in the shot sequence I posted earlier. I shot the hen running....she didn't want to fly for some reason, and began running and folks started unloading, she turned around and ran back by me and I shot her as she ran by about 15 yards away....
I then moved out on the wing...last man on the right or left for a while and shot the 4th in the neck with me being the last man to shoot at that particular rooster.
Don's dad was back up with a shot gun to shoot when all arrows were fired, and I clipped its neck.....it started to fold and then straightened up. I turned to Don and said 'did you see that?....I hit its neck"...bout that time I heard the shot gun and turned to see the bird falling. Don said it folded again and was on its way down but his dad put up a shot anyway for good measure.
I can't tell you how much fun it was....can't get the hunt out of my head let me tell ya!
