ok got my 23in.excel riser and samick limbs makes a 68in bow gonna use it for spots.so do i have to unstring it to adjust tiller and weight or is it like a compound...someone tell me how you set yours up from start to finish......

I don't unstring mine to adjust tiller, just crank on it and shoot. I initially set my np 1/4 high, 3 under, but have played with different adjustment so much since I'm not sure where it is  now. Problem I have right now is I'm using a string I built and it keeps moving on me so its hard to take the time to fine tune just to have it change again. If you like to tinker this is the bow for you. You probably know this but there is a lock down screw on the bottom of the limb bolt that you have to loosen first then adjust and re-tighten.

I shoot ILF setups pretty exclusively.  I shoot split finger, and I find that mine tend to shoot the best nocked close to square from an elevated rest.  Most of mine are shorter, hunting length risers that I shoot off the shelf, but I shot competitive FITA style for a while, using a PSE X-Factor and Hoyt Nexus risers with an elevated rest/plunger.  Each bow is a tad different, but nock height on my 21" Excel riser (which I currently have an elevated rest on) is at about 1/16" positive.  I also keep my tiller closer to square, usually around 1/8" positive.  On the Excel, since the limb bolt is not an eccentric bolt, I adjust the tiller while the bow is strung.  For left and right limb alignment adjustments I unstring mine.
