It may not be what everyone else has, but last year I bought the equalizer tree stand. I found it to be very quiet and you can level it out easy. I think it runs around 300.00. I found it to be very sturdy and I feel very comfortable in it. you may want to check it out. Ben

I have both Lone Wolf and Summet.
I will sell the Summet and keep the Lone Wolf.
I'm pushing 60 and the alpha climber is fine...use the best harness you can afford, because you can not afford not to be tied on to the tree.

I have the openshot and have used the lonewolf which uses a similar small seat to climb. The lonewolf packs nicely but scared me to death while climbing using the small seat. The openshot made me more comfortable climbing and sitting. I'm a big guy so both of those stands are much harder to climb with than the summit viper or just a good old lock on stand. Most of the time I hunt from lone wolf lock ons. If I have to be mobile the openshot is my choice

ive got to throw it to my Alabama boys over in decatur, Summit is THE best treestand made.
ive been thinking about getting the Razor, sit and stand climbing, yet a open front when you get up in the tree. take a bungee cord to keep the top from slipping when you stand up (BAD experience with an old Summit speaking on that little episode, i never used that treestand again) and i think youd never have any problem what so ever.
or maybe a Broadhead Backpacker....
