I think you are a very lucky man. I have a 9 year old grand daughter who is so far loving the Bow. Good luck Don

I just got my 4 year old daughter her first bow for Christmas. I couldn't believe how proud I was when she started hitting the target in the basement or how quickly she has taken to it. Hope I have pictures like yours when she is 13. Thanks for sharing!

That IS a hero pic.

I applaud all of you parents that posted here so far for taking the time to work with your children.  They are, as I am sure all of you know, our future.

This is just another area in which TG'ers shine...

i was the other way around! i started my dad on traditional. my dad started me out on compounds when i was 7 or 8 and when i was 13 or so i was wanting to get started into traditional but he wouldnt buy it. well it was about a year and a half ago that i brought it back up and i bought my first trad bow. he still wasnt buying it very much. now he's putting up his compound and says we're going out with longbows next deer season. i couldnt agree more. and im ready for next bow season to get here already. great to see your son getting into it too!!
