I have three Bob Lee Recurve Bows and love them all.
Signature TD 60" 54#@ 28 ---> elk
Hunter TD 62" 43#@ 28 ---> deer
Hunter Signature 54" 45#@ 28 ---> turkey

I made them. pretty simple really I just cut down 1" pieces of allen wrench and epoxied them in my bolt heads. Then drilled some antler burrs and expoxied in the piece of allen wrench. Works well and if you would happen to knock one off your bolt is still holding your limb on!

Thanks Dennis! that's a great and simple idea! We have a bunch of old scrub racks in my dad's garage. I'm gonna do that. I looked on here too already for snake skins. Gonna read up and try that too.

The skins are not difficult to do either. You learned all the skills needed to put them on in Kindergarden. Pine hollow longbows a sponsor is a great place to order skins.

I have A Hunter Model 49# at 28 inches, I've liked it ever since Lenny Rock put it in my hands and let me shoot it back in 04.

I have a Classic that has a black Phenolic riser with beauty stripe,. 60 inches, 60 lb. It is a trade in on an Eaglewing. Seems to be in really good shape with what I would call only normal wear. If interested let me know. Steve

I have two recurves and a set of longbow limbs. The limbs can be used on either riser, but the longbow limbs were made to match only one of the risers which I sent in when I ordered the limbs. The longbow limbs shoot well on either riser but don't match perfectly on the older riser. The mismatch is very slight and if not looking closely, you wouldn't even notice it. These are good bows.

All I can say is that I have had a lot of bows from many makers and my BL Hunter is about the only bow I ever shoot anymore. My son shoots only Wings and Lees also.

I have several Lee longbows and recurves and interchange limbs between all of them. I have owned and shot alot of top end custom bows and the Bob Lee's shoot as well as any of them. I have had no problems with noise, I to use a little higher brace height and cat whiskers. You won't go wrong with a Bob Lee bow. DK.

My favorite bow now is the plain ash short riser with longbow and recurve limbs.The 56" recurve is very fast and the 60" longbow is so smooth and grip is great.Kip

I used to have a LH Bob Lee Classic, double micarta, 64" 51# @ 28". I bought it used, had it for a few years before trading it for something else. DUMB!!! Alot of you have that one bow you wish you would have kept and that bow is the one for me. As stated many times, that length makes that bow so-o-o-o smooth, and what really ticks me off about selling it is that I shot it really well. I can't tell you the number of times I have been on the Bob Lee web site comtemplating another one. DUMB ON ME!!!!

One thing to keep in mind... We have a no questions asked return policy.

If you order a custom bow from us (even if you want your name on it) and two months down the road you don't like the way it shoots, feels, looks, sounds or just shouldn't have spent the money, we'll gladly take it back and give you a full refund.

We want everyone who orders a bow from us to be 100% satisfied.

It's my grandfather's way of doing business and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

By the way, he read all of these posts and is very appreciative of all the support.

For what it's worth, a Bob Lee is on the short list for my next deployment treat. Been drooling on them for a while now. This thread certainly doesn't help. :D

I own a signature LB and its as good as can be. fast, quiet and tough as nails.
Gotta say had one riser blown up due to dryfiring, but the service and help from the freindly folks at Bob Lee were outstanding! They even helped me tuning the bow via telephone.
