Anyone Camo Dipped Limbs?
« on: January 15, 2011, 02:55:00 PM »
I have a set of black limbs that I am thinking about getting dipped and was wondering if anyone has had limbs dipped and how it has held up? I like the looks of CamoDip sponsor on here. Thanks.

I've had 2 bows done and a buddy had his limbs done. I really like it. Lots of patterns to choose from.

How do they hold up as far as durability?

No problems. One of the bows I dipped was my bowfishing bow and it is doing fine. That bow has seen a lot of rough handling.

Good to hear. If they hold up as a bowfishing bow then I'm sure it would do fine in the woods. Durability is my only concern.

When limbs are dipped they spray over the camo with clear spray, same as any other finish, clear and hard.

I got one of my TallTines dipped last spring and beat the heck out of it in Alaska last fall.    Lots of slippery rock up there. Excellent durability on the finish.

I've been hankering for a Predator Camo-dipped bow!  I saw a Bear MAg on here some time ago that was dipped such but couldn't find it again. I'll check out the sponsor above.

I had my Morrison fishing bow done 18 months ago. All I use it for is bowfishin & it's been dropped on rocks & kicked around in the bottom of various boats ever since. Basically I treat it like a club & it's yet to show a mark or scratch. Very, very impressed with the finish!
