Fun in the snow!!
« on: January 15, 2011, 06:57:00 PM »
AdamH, his son Brayden and I went hunting down in Maryland this evening, saw a bunch of deer and a few turkey.  Gotta love hunting in the snow!  Here are a few pictures from our afternoon
Here is a picture of Brayden, do you think a 68" bow is too long for him?

Adam and Brayden together

Finally Adam and I looking like we know what we are doing

Thanks for looking.  We had a great time as always.  It doesn't always matter if you harvest anything as long as you have a good time outside in the snow

Brayden is quite a man to be able to handle that much bow. Wish I could have been with y'all instead of working!

Looking good.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Hov,
We were putting a few silent pushes on for Deer.  It is still in till the end of January.  We let a few flat heads walk in hopes of a buck coming past but no luck.

Looks like a great day. Think I better get the kids out tomorrow for some of the same.

Went out today and it is sure quiet walking in the snow we got this week - it hasn't had a chance to get hard and crusty.
