Brace height? Arrow weight? Answers to these will start allowing us to narrow it down. Others with more experience will have other ideas.

Do you have a dacron string on it and/or are you shooting too light an arrow? If the bow is approved for dynaflight97, you will find that reduces a lot of handshock and vibration.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

Try raising the brace height 1/2" or more--My GN Kiowa had a bit too until I played with brace ht & nocking pt.--GOOD LUCK

The longbow is a 68" 65lb @ 29" arrows 500gr +/-10gr
7.5" brace.recurve is 60" 64lbs @29" 8" brace same arrows. dacron string on both.

That puts your arrows to roughly 7,8 gpp, which is below the recommendations of any custom-bowyer I've heard of..

8 grains per pound is the minimum, I've heard of, without stressing the bow..

Most people average at about 9gpp I guess, and I know of people using up to 12-13 gpp.

Basically, the heavier your arrow is, the more energy is transferred from the limbs into flinging the arrow forward.
This results in less excess energy remaining in the bow after the arrow leaves the string, resulting in less vibrations/handshock.

I'd try a 9-10 gpp arrow if I were you   :)

Also, from what they say on the website, your brace heights look to be half an inch to much, but then again this may differ from bow to bow..

Also, Id call them up and ask if you can put DF97 on them, instead of Dacron!

Good Luck!
