It looks like there is going to be an elk hunt this fall in Ontario. There hasn't been one for over 100 years. I think that is really fantastic to see these critters re-introduced and increasing to the point where a hunt can take place.

It looks like residents only at this time but maybe it will open up in the future.

Any from Ontario going to enter the draw??

My buddy Garf and I are already to apply. The hunt is the week before we go moose hunting so my wife will really be impressed if I am away for most of three weeks!! But a guy has to do what a guy has to do!!!

Hey Wiley, g'day to ya, Mount Forest is just around the corner from here, I'm in Meaford. Just heading out in an hour or so to visit my brother in law in Mt. Forest. I lived in Durham as a kid.

What a life, 3 weeks away hunting, hope it works out for you.

I'll be putting in for it. We have a cottage in Faraday Township just hope some of the harvest zones are on crown land.
