Not sure about the not expensive part, but easton full metal jacket dangerous game in 250 spine is the business.

Not many choices in 250 spine carbons that are inexpensive.Or are you talking about an arrow like CX 250 Heritage or a CX 250 Maxima? They have a spine of .373 and the Maxima has a spine around .400.

Maybe you could look at the Easton Axis shaft I shoot them a lot at everything they make a great arrow.

I want a .250 spine, not a 250 CE Heritage or maxima.
Are the Axis the FMJs with the carbon core/alu ?
Are they worth their money? How about durability?
Any ecperiences?
Thanks alot

I used the 300 spine fmjs in africa on 2009, very durable, I have the 250s for my 72# black douglas with 300 grain broadheads, I have not hunted with them yet, but they blow through my target often and have hit very hard objects behind and lived to be shot again.
They come with eastons 75/50 break off bras insert and with the rit head you can easily make an arrow in the 900 to 1000 grain area.... They weigh over 17 grains per inch. Hope this helps.
