I use them out of my 56-60# Hills. Can't tell ya what they are running FPS, but they hit like a ton of bricks are only a smidge slower than a similar POC, at least to the eye.

I like them a lot.Ive used them for bunnies for about 3 years and I like their performance. They pretty tough at times but every now and than youll get a dud that cracks along the runout lines. I havent had much trouble straightening them and only rarely have to do so.

They are TOUGH the weight is higher than POC.Mine weight around 700grs but at 20yards I don't notice much difference.Practicing i have hit some concrete and in the perpendiculat hits the arrow is newer than befor. This is the perfect shaft for Big and dangerous games.

I shot barrel tapered ash for years. Very tough and durable, hit like a mac truck. Yes, they need to be "tweaked" every now and then for straightness but that's the only "con" I'll give.
If my supplier hadn't gone out of business(Silent Pond Shafts), I would still be shooting them.

That's all I use since 2006. I order Mine from Raptor archery. Mine weigh in around 720-800 grns depending on arrow length.

It's my go to shaft and with 200 upfront and 10" rear taper I'm at at 740 gr. Out of a dozen dowels you get 8 or 9 usable in my opinion. I also like to burn my shafts to expose the grain and this works real nice on ash. I haven't used anything else so I can't fairly compare but I have primarily pass throughs except for one high muscle hit and that nearly made it through.

before i switched back to POC...I shot ash for years...love it! My supplier closed his doors. I am shooting doug fir right now, not sure about it yet.
I'd go back and have considered doing it in a heart beat. I'd like to shoot my waterbuff with ash if I can make it work spine/weight wise. I know I can get the weight...
