Joining the shrew club
« on: January 29, 2011, 01:00:00 AM »
shrew to form (pun intended) the new bow shoots beautifully. Tuesday of this week I got a package in the mail. A super shrew classic hunter. (thanks again Ron for thinking of me when this bow came up) the bow specs are 65#at 27". what can I say the bow is a rocket launcher with no kick  smooth as silk and fast as a bullet. The bow is a present for a buddy of mine but he let me shoot it and after only a few arrows I can say that I am hooked for life. It makes me so eager for the lil favourite bow I ordered. man that bow can really launch those arrows.I had no trouble shooting all the way out to 40 yards with this bow. we chronographed it and the slowest speed with hunting arrows was 189 the fastest with some light arrows was 209. Now to me speed isn't a big deal but I was damn impressed that with hunting arrows i was reaching those speeds.
All the shooting aside I would just like to say how beautiful the bow is. The curly maple veneers the stacking of wood through the handle what a looker. The attention to detail that only someone fully committed to making a work of art could achieve. That said both this bow and my soon to be bow will be hunting weapons and I am hopping to clock many hours in the field.  the truest way to appreciate a bow with this level of artistry  is in the field not on a wall.
In closing I would like to send out my special thanks On be half of me and my buddy Lance to  Ron a Gregg for this astonishing bow.

Thanks Adrian

How about some photos,

We sure would like to see what it looks like .I just ordered one also ,And I'm going through the stage of picking out the what I want for woods. I'm almost ready to say "Ron you put one together surprise me " But I don't think he well do that.

He is a type of fellow that wants to make sure that you get exactly what you want .Ron is  a great guy.
