Alan, it is time to dig out that old ASAT leafy suit.  

I have 90% stuff in both patterns, so if it is cold and I think the Forest is going to be too dark for my stand, I just put the open country over top.

Lots of ways to skin that cat.

I wore Forest this Dec on the ground in a broom weed "hut" I built and was totally undetected by a buck I missed. Inside of 20 paces I watched him a solid 15 minutes. He still didn't see me after the arrow missed and hit behind him which spooked him and I reloaded. He looked all over and casually walked off. Never saw me. Everything around me was light brown grasses and broom weed. I think Forest blends just fine when you remove color from the equation. Pics taken just before I settled in:
