ILF tuning ?
« on: February 01, 2011, 10:49:00 PM »
Is there a right way to tune a ILF bow. I just use a bow square and set the lower limb 3/16 stronger, then after that I loosen or tighten the upper limb. are there certain things to look for? it seems the combinations of limb tiller, brace height, nock point are endless

The biggest part is getting the brace height adjusted where there it's at the lowest point with the least vibration. then depending on the pressure point you are applying to the grip adjust the limbs one at a time until it's dead in the hand.

the tiller measurement will vary from one archer to the next.... use the force Luke
