Surprise in the mail !!
« on: June 09, 2007, 02:35:00 PM »
Well I knew it was coming sometime, but wasn't expecting it quite so soon. 58" Arroyo, 45 lbs at 27". Bacote and ziricote riser, and I can't remember what the veneers were..lol Black something on the back of the limbs and some kind of burl on the belly. To bad my camara only takes clear pics when it feels like it.

I got mine last Thursday. My Arroyo is a stock brown Dymondwood with black glass limbs 54" 50#@28" bow Kevin had on the rack so there was no waiting time. I have a 26.5 inch draw and ended up bareshaft tuning a 30" GoldTip traditional 5575 125 grain point to the bow. I ended up with a brace height of 7 3/4". Cast is excellent, I started shooting some razorcaps yesterday afternoon. Nice bow, good price. I know you will like yours too.

a couple more, little better quality

First thing that really impressed me about this bow was the way the draw smooths out the closer you get to anchor, like warm butter, very smooth. It also is very quiet, I don't hear any limb slap at all, must have something to do with the static tips.

Smooth is right. I got a 54" in the works and I draw just shy of 30". The 54" pulls smooth as a 60" to me. Yep Kev hit gold with his Arroyo.<><

Congats on the new bow, another MASTERPIECE by Kevin. I love my Arroyo been shooting it for over a year now.
