Jeff, when is your spring break? Can give you a better answer if dates are known.

I'm going to be doing the same thing in 2012, so I will be following this one closly.   I will more than likely do a hog hunt while down there my wife wants to do Disney, and I will be able to get away for a day or two.

pretty sure it will be turkey season then..that means private land may be harder to access since some guys will pay lots of $$$ just to hunt Osceola turkeys..I know thats what happens on the place I deer/hog hunt,I have no access in march and april..Maybe Bawana can help you out?

Turkey season runs Mar 19th - April 24th. I do know of an area you may possibly be able to hunt. It is appx. an hour South of Haines City, if the fellow that runs the property is not booked with turkey hunts and has an open date you can get in. However you need to call at least 2 weeks ahead during Turkey Season to schedule. If your interested I'll PM the contact and other info.

Mike, this could be a good hunt for you also. Will send you info. Maybe we'll have a hunt in Florida next year. About an hour and a half from the Mouse.

Nicki is a big sponor of TBOF.  His operation near Arcadia is well respected and he would be a good guy to talk to.  Come a little earlier and join s for the state championship shoot...always the first full weekend of March near Ocala.
